A NEW UKRAINIAN-AUSTRIAN DIGITIZING OF TEACHING PROJECT HAS BEEN STARTED
On November 17th, 2021, Internet conference launched a new Ukrainian-Austrian Digitalizing of Teaching Project, initiated by Dominik Eisenmann, Education Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine, the Commissioner for Education of the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research, and OeAD (Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research) and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the participation of SIHE "University of Educational Management" of NAES of Ukraine, Odessa Academy of Continuing Education, Vinnytsia Academy of Continuing Education, project partner organizations, experts from Austria.
During the opening of the conference Dominic Eisenmann presented the project, its structure and stages of implementation until 2023, introduced and congratulated the Ukrainian partners - project participants.
Artur Seletsky, Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Monica Mott, Head of the Department of Centers for Cooperation Abroad and Language, OeAD, Vienna, congratulated the participants on the implementation of the project.
Mykola Kyrychenko, Rector of SIHE “University of Educational Management” of NAES of Ukraine, spoke on behalf of the Ukrainian participants of the project. Lyubov Zadorozhna, Rector of Odessa Academy of Continuing Education, spoke about the digitalization of education in Odessa and the region.
The Ukrainian-Austrian Digitalizing of Teaching Project will be represented by 15 research and teaching staff of the Central Institute of Postgraduate Education and the Educational and Research Institute of Management and Psychology headed by Natalia Muranova, the Vice-Rector for Research, Education, and International Relations.
The second practice-oriented part of the conference was a mini-training "Experience of digitalization of education in partner institutions" led by Olga Bershadskaya.
The Ukrainian-Austrian Digitalizing of Teaching Project ignited participants’ desire to develop their digital competencies, to master new experience of digitalizing educational process. The next event of the project is scheduled for December 2021 in full-time format in the city of Odessa.
