FIRST INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC FORUM "ADAPTIVE PROCESSES IN EDUCATION" IS OF GREAT SUCCESS

Representatives of scientists of the Department of Educational Management and Law (Head of the Department, Prof. Zoya Ryabova) from SIHE "University of Educational Management" of NAES of Ukraine, led by Rector Mykola Kyrychenko, actively participated in the organization and conducting of the First International Scientific Forum "Adaptive Processes in Education" on February 7th-8th, 2022, in online format.

More than 200 participants from 14 regions of Ukraine and 7 countries of the world joined the forum: heads, deputies, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers of institutions of higher, professional higher, professional (vocational) educational and scientific institutions; teachers of general secondary educational institutions; post-graduate students. YouTube broadcast of the event gathered educators from all regions of Ukraine, speakers from educational institutions, research institutions, NGOs, as well as foreign participants.

Welcoming the participants of the forum, Mykola Kyrychenko, Rector of the University of Educational Management, emphasized the exceptional importance of adaptation issues for the modern education sector. The number of participants in the forum and the geography of participants testify to the increased interest in the issue.

Professor Galina Yelnikova, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, Chairman of the Board of the NGO "School of Adaptive Management of Social and Pedagogical Systems", Hab.Dr. in Educational Sciences, stressed that current situation challenges adaptation to rapidly changing environment. The scale and dynamics of change in education require not only a concentration of research efforts on adaptive processes, but active introduction of adaptive management technologies in general and in education in particular.

Oleksandr Kupriyanov, Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, Hab.Dr. in Technical Sciences, Assoc. Professor, Vice-Rector for Research of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and Education, noted that modern education is faced with a complex set of various problems, which, in turn, determines the objective need to organize management activities on adaptive basis.

Welcoming remarks were also made by: Svitlana Kretovych, Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Department of Internal and Humanitarian Policy of the Office of the President of Ukraine; Michal Kudlac, Professor of Public Policy at College of Economics and Public Administration, Krakow University of Economics; Tamara Pushkareva, Head of the Project Activities Department of the Institute of Modernization of Educational Content of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Head of Academy for Innovative Development of Education.

Forum was held in nine scientific panels. Scientific panel #9 "Adaptive Model of Professional Development of Educational Leaders and Research and Teaching Staff in an Open University of Postgraduate Education"was moderated by Professor Zoya Ryabova and Assoc. Professor Victoria Pugach. A number of researchers, educators and government officials presented their reports during the panel:

  • Oksana Anufrieva, Assoc. Professor, Head of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies at SIHE “UEM”;
  • Tetyana Barantsova, Government Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
  • Olesya Borsuk, Artistic Director, Shevchenkivets Art Center;
  • Tatiana Gavlitina, Assoc. Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Economics and Educational Management, Rivne Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education;
  • Roman Kozenko, Assoc. Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Law of SIHE “UEM”;
  • Oleksandr Kotelevets, post-graduate student of the Department of Local History and Tourism, Social Sciences and Humanities of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and Education;
  • Svitlana Kravets, Head of the Laboratory of Foreign Vocational Education and Training Systems of the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine;
  • Victoria Pugach, Assoc. Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Law, CIPE, SIHE “UEM”;
  • Zoya Ryabova, Professor, Head of the Department of Educational Management and Law, CIPE, SIHE “UEM”.

The participants of the forum expressed their sincere admiration for the meaningful and professional discussion on challenging issues related to adaptive processes in education. Some words of gratitude were expressed to the Department of Educational Management and Law of the Central Institute of Postgraduate Education of SIHE “UEM” for active participation in organizing the event.

Based on the results of the work, Forum resolution was adopted and the publication of the participants' abstracts is planned.
