DEPARTMENT OF LICENCING AND ACCREDITATION
Вased on necessity of forming appropriate contacts between labor market and system of higher education, providing constitutional rights of citizens for quality high education of Higher Educational Institution “University of Educational Management”, Department of Licencing and Accreditation, in particular, states own task permanently to widen spectrum of educational programs, that our society needs. Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine accepted Decree “About Approving List of Knowledge Fields and Specialties, by which Preparation of Receivers of Higher Education is executed” since April, 29th, 2015, №266, that confirms new list of preparation fields and specialties. Learning demands for qualified professionals at labor market, Department of Licencing and Accreditation continues to work out grounds of principles of forming new specialties, introduction new educational programs.
Licencing –theprocedure of recognition the ability of juridical person to conduct educational activity by definite specialty at definite level of higher education according to standards of educational activity.
Accreditation of educational program – estimating educational program of higher educational institution by this program by subject:
- Propriety to standards of higher education
- Ability to execute requirements of standard and approach applicated in program results of education
- Achievement results of education presented in program
Certificate about accreditation confirms accordance of educational program of higher educational institution by appropriate specialty and level of higher standard of higher education and renders right for issuance of Diploma of state pattern by this specialty.
With entering new Law about higher education the order of licencing and accreditation is changed. Department of Accreditation and Licencing monitors the changes in legislation, for necessity explanations are rendered by appropriate department of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and recommendations are worked out in preparation of licencing and accreditation affairs.
