FUNCTIONAL OBLIGATIONS OF STRUCTURE SUBDIVISIONS OF STUDENT COLLEGIUM OF UEM

HEAD OF STUDENT COLLEGIUM OF “UEM”:

1. Represents interests of University students in relations with Administration, address from student society about proposals, petitions, claims

2. Assists improvement of level of educational process at University

3. Participates in discussion and solving issues of perfection educational process, scientific and research work, organization of leisure, improvement of health, life and at University

4. Renders students, student organizations support in approving with Administration of University the organizational issues joined with conducting educational, scientific, sports, health and other events

5. Works out current and strategic directions of activity and development of Student Collegium “UEM” and present them for approving conference

6. Approves in order established by conference, decision of University Administration in issues indicated by Part 6, Article 40 of Law of Ukraine “About Higher Education”:

Enrolling students out and their renewal
Appointment Deputy Director of Pedagogical Work of Institute
Accommodation of persons, who study at University, at Hostel and removal them from Hostel
Approving rules of inner order of University at part concerning persons who study
Activity of student Hostel for living persons who study at University

7. Introduces proposals of curricula, development of material base of University, including issues concerning life and leisure of students

8. Appeals in established order decisions, acts and inactivity of University Administration, if they break rights and legal interests of students

9. Participates in preparation law acts, concerning rights and obligations of students

10. Accepts its Regulations

11. Executes current supervision of financial activity of Student Collegium of UEM

12. Enters conference the proposals of announcement of protest actions

13. Informs students of University about own activity

14. Creates temporary commissions, working groups for decision current issues, establishes order of its activity

15. Presents Student Collegium of UEM at bodies of local and state power, local, regional, All-Ukrainian and international public organizations

16. Solves issues about entrance for local, regional, All-Ukrainian and international youth student unions and associations and conclude with them appropriate Agreements

17. Realizes other powers, foreseen by this Statute and other acts

DEPUTY HEADS OF STUDENT COLLEGIUM AND HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS:

Organize work of appropriate Departments
Conduct meetings of Departments and sign protocols of these meetings
Are responsible for work of own Department
By necessity relieve and appoint Deputies, members of Departments
Represent Departments at appropriate working and consultative bodies of own University and cooperates with appropriate Departments of other Universities
Regularly present plans and report before Student Collegium of UEM

STUDENT CLUB:

Organizes and conducts solemn, entertainment and patriotic and pedagogical events
Organizes visiting solemn, entertainment and patriotic and pedagogical events by students of University
Organizes groups by interests of students
Commonly with Administration organizes excursions for students of Institute
Joining students of Institute for participation in groups
Organizes and conducts leisure of students

DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION AND PROFESSINAL OREIENTED WORK:

Spreading information at Institute about events, actions of entertainment and social direction
Obligations of members of sector include delievering information at site of Institute, blackboard at Hall of Building
Members of Department works under issue of wall newspapers dedicated to social events or other actions
Organizes and conducts professional oriented events of popularization of University
Places news, useful information and announcements at page of Internet site of University in rubrics “For Students”

EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC DEPARTMENT

Members of Departments compile and promulgate rating lists of students
Controls forming of paper case by Moderators of groups
Compiling and promulgation visiting by students the Institute
Members of Department search educational materials for assistance students
Educational and organizational work
Assistance at organization All-University, All-Ukrainian and international conferences, conducting scientific seminars, trainings, form directions of scientific work of students
Joining students of Institute for participation in scientific conferences, seminars, round tables

STUDENT PROFESSIONAL UNION

Present interests of all students of Institute
Commonly with Administration of University solves issues of introduction, review and change of study conditions, accommodation of students etc.
Commonly with Administration of University solves issues of social development of University, perfection conditions of education, material and life and medical service; participates in solving social and economy issues
Participates in working out rules of inner order of University and its subdivisions, rules of accommodation at student Hostel of University
Assists at educational, scientific and creative activity of students
Assists at forming necessary conditions for accommodation and leisure of students
Organization of cooperation with students of other higher educational institutions and youth organizations

DEPARTMENT OF SPORTS EDUCATION

Organization of sports events among students
Organization of sports competitions with other educational institutions
Propaganda of health way of life
Organization of health improvement races for students
Orhanization of “Days of Health”

SENIOR STUDENTS OF HOSTEL FLOORS:

Are responsible for execution of rules of inner order by inhabitants of the floor
Control strong keeping rules of fire-prevention safety (in case of fire he must immediately inform person on duty of Hostel, use measures for blowing fire out, evacuation of people and property)
Control cleaning and order at floor and realization of schedule of students on duty at floor
Control keeping silence after 23:00
Inform students in-time about instructions of Administration
Control in-time leaving by visitors the Hostel
Conduct supervision of sanitary state of rooms, rooms of general using at Hostel
Without permit of Head of Hostel doesn’t approve moving things and property out floor
Comply schedules of shifts at floors and control their realization
Are responsible for sanitary state of places of general using

Instruction of Senior Student of Floor are obligatory for executions by students, who live at hostel at given floor and by visitors of Hostel

CONTROL AND REVISION DEPATRMENT:

Current control of realization budget and activity of Student Collegium of UEM
Control incomes and costs of member payments for budget of Student Collegium of UEM
Control and revision commission report about results of activity conducted by it at meeting of Student Collegium of UEM and general meeting of students if Institute
