THE UEM RECTOR MYKOLA KYRYCHENKO CONDUCTED A MEETING WITH THE HEADS OF GOLDA MEIR UKRAINIAN-ISRAEL INSTITUTE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIVIL SOCIETY
On November 2nd, 2023, Mykola Kyrychenko, rector of SIHE "University of Educational Management" of NAES of Ukraine, conducted a meeting with Albert Feldman, director of Golda Meir Ukrainian-Israeli Institute for the Development of Civil Society, public figure, head of the Israeli Medical Mission in Ukraine, Doctor in Psychology, co-founder of Good Affairs Forum, Oleksandr Sosis, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Golda Meir Institute for the Development of Civil Society, businessman, shareholder of JSC "Alliance Bank", co-founder of Good Affairs Forum, and Golda Vynogradska, public figure, designer, head of Fashion Globus Ukraine National Industry Partnership.
The meeting was also attended by Natalia Muranova, vice-rector for scientific and educational work and international relations of the University, and Inna Otamas, vice-rector for scientific work and digitalization, and Vyacheslav Suprun, director of Educational and Scientific Institute of Management and Psychology.
The participants of the meeting noted that Ukrainian specialists need methodological, scientific, and expert support from Israeli specialists, and not only in the field of medicine, social policy, but also in education, implementation of new educational programs for training and professional development, on mental health, post-traumatic syndrome and its rehabilitation, assistance to IDPs, etc.
Golda Meir Institute of Civil Society Development is engaged in health care reform, modernization of emergency medicine, mental health of society and uses Israeli experience in helping IDPs, victims of terrorist acts and military operations participants, which is extremely relevant for Ukraine today.
During the meeting, Rector Mykola Kyrychenko called the signing of the Memorandum on Interaction and Cooperation an important factor for further cooperation and an urgent public initiative. Ahead are important projects for the development of civil society and the provision of quality educational services, joint participation in the modernization of educational programs; improvement of mechanisms for the development of academic mobility for students of various levels to expand opportunities for the development of an individual educational trajectory; methodological, scientific, expert support from Israeli specialists, not only in the field of medicine and social policy, but also in the field of education and science, with SIHE "University of Educational Management" joining Good Affairs Forum, developing ideas and contacts for further implementation of common events.
