Bukach M. M. Interaction of public «Education Center "University of the Third Age"» from the іnstitute of еducation and сulture

The article shows and analyzes the forms of cooperation of higher educational institution, local governments, institutions of social welfare, education and culture in the organization of the educational center "The University of the Third Age".

One of the key tasks of ngos is to promote activity and creative initiative of citizens on the principles of voluntariness and equality, so naturally that ngos can not stand aside on education and training. Studies in several regions of the country studies attitudes of older people found the following problems: frustration awareness, preference pessimistic outlook on life prospects; negative attitude towards the current government; a high level of subjective interest in the policy and low grade to influence it; dissatisfaction with life; availability depressed living standards, poverty, marginality perceived as a given. Recent developments in the east and south of the country have shown that older people who have a lot of free time and not involved in community activities can be a destabilizing factor in the state. The possibilities and the ability of elderly people to bring material and spiritual benefits to society and become even more certain factor of development depends on whether society is ready to change stereotypical attitudes towards the elderly and socially protect them. Therefore, to minimize the above risks, there is a need of special help elderly person.
