The article deals with the problem of finding ways of forming economic competence of future managers as part of core competencies at the present stage of development of Ukraine. Currently, the education system is designed to give knowledge of the professional field of activity, its specificity, has a personal form as a specialist. Modern specialist should have strong and deep knowledge, professional thinking, have their own professional and personal position, economic competence, which is a sign of modern vocational education.
