The article presents a theoretical analysis of psychological culture of competition experts as part of their professional competitivenes. The analysis of the phenomenon of competition in modern science. It is noted that the problem of competition are «interdisciplinary». It should be noted that the problem of competition for many organizations, experts — of professional activities in various fields of science, art, technology is enough «living» and «painful». At the same time, it almost did not study covered in the research and practical development, therefore it takes the format «hidden», natural phenomena, and therefore creates a lot of psychological problems for all participants competitive interaction. And its decision largely a «business» most professionals are not always prepared for competition and for its constructive solution.
Competition is defined as a psychological author of interaction for a limited resource. Authored provisions on psychological culture of competition as professional self-identity and self-regulation in a situation of competitive professional interaction, based on a system of theoretical knowledge of the psychology of competition and is in practical actions regarding all of the competition. The structure of psychological culture of professional competition, which includes theoretical and conceptual (theoretical knowledge on the issue of competition) and practical (implementation of theoretical knowledge on the issue of competition in practice) component of the problem of competition. It is noted that this development as a methodological support can be used in learning of students in post-graduate education in psychology problems of competition.
Prospects for further research in this area author sees the development of methods of experimental research of psychological culture of competition experts.
