UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION MANAGEMENT BECAME A PARTNER OF UKRAINIAN GLOBAL FACULTY
In November 2022, Ukrainian Global Faculty, an educational project implemented by the K.FUND charitable foundation with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, was launched in Ukraine. The project is designed for students of higher education, doctors of philosophy, scientific and pedagogical workers, professionals and provides an opportunity to listen to free online lectures from professors of the world's leading universities, top-level foreign experts and prominent entrepreneurs.
State institution of higher education "University of Educational Management" of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine became a full-fledged partner of Ukrainian Global Faculty on the basis of equal cooperation, academic mobility and interdisciplinary cooperation. Now, during the Russian aggression, like never before, it is important for our University to be connected to the rest of the world, to learn new skills and share new ideas, and to develop as part of the global educational community.
The Ukrainian Global Fund undertakes to attract teachers, researchers, scientists and lecturers from all over the world in order to provide students of higher education and research and teaching staff of the University access to the top online lectures and master classes;
- perform simultaneous translation from English into Ukrainian;
- prepare a wide range of topics: from IT and engineering to economics and entrepreneurship;
- the opportunity to ask the lecturer questions and find colleagues based on interests;
- issue certificates of participation, which can be counted when upgrading qualifications.
Many representatives of research and teaching staff, students of higher education and other employees of SIHE "UEM" supported the initiative of Ukrainian Global Faculty and registered on the web resource of the foundation. They joined the first lecture of David Rubens, British professor, executive director of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (London), on "Crisis Management Modeling in the 2020s" and received their corresponding certificates. The lecture introduced the audience to the problems associated with understanding current crisis events, approaches needed to effectively respond to them, main reasons for our inability to effectively prepare for crisis events as well as the structure and opportunities for managing strategic risks and crises that meet the challenges of the future generation.
SIHE "University of Educational Management" will continue to cooperate and support partnership with Ukrainian Global Faculty since it is an important step on the way to entering the European educational space.
