FIRST ALL-UKRAINIAN SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND ADMINISTRATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR AND POST-WAR PERIOD IN UKRAINE"
From April 15th to 28th, 2022, the All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conference "Public Administration and Administration in the Conditions of War and Post-war Period in Ukraine" took place online on Zoom platform with live broadcast on the YouTube channel of SIHE "University of Educational Management" of NAES of Ukraine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gvgKayJPvU
Co-organizers of the conference were: Analytical and Consulting Center for Public Administration and Law, All-Ukrainian Association of Masters of Public Administration, SIHE "University of Educational Management" of NAES of Ukraine, Institute of Higher Education of NAES of Ukraine, Institute of Social and Political Psychology of NAES of Ukraine, Educational and Scientific Institute of Management and Psychology of SIHE “University of Educational Management”, Educational and Research Institute of Public Service and Management of Odesa Polytechnic State University, Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Uzhhorod National University, Foundation for European and Security Studies, Ukrainian Center for Social Development.
Among the active participants of the conference there are scientific and pedagogical staff of higher educational institutions, applicants for higher education, educators, volunteers, scientists, practitioners, philosophers, public figures, as well as representatives of public authorities and local governments from 16 regions of Ukraine. The total number of participants in all nine sections reached more than 515 people. And the total number of views on the university YouTube channel is over 5400.
Among the registered participants of the conference there are 117 Ph.D. professionals and 83 Hab.Dr. in their field of sciences. More than 70 have degrees in state administration, public management and administration. Also 30 post-graduate students, 65 heads of government and public institutions, public figures, entrepreneurs and active citizens joined the event.
The conference was held in a new format, namely nine sectional meetings began at 18.00 on some days, which allowed everyone to listen to the speeches of 52 speakers, including heads of central authorities: Yulia Laputina, Minister of Veterans of Ukraine; Andriy Klochko, Chairman of the Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, People's Deputy of Ukraine; Taras Shevchenko, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine; Vyacheslav Negoda, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine; Oleh Yeresko, Director General of the Directorate of Pre-school, School, Extracurricular and Inclusive Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The conference was held with the leading role of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, SIHE "University of Educational Management” in particular, whose employees initiated and organized this event.
One of the tasks of SIHE “University of Educational Management” of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine was to organize the work of Section 6 "Public Administration in Education in Conditions of War and Postwar Period", which was successfully held on April 22nd, 2022.
All participants of All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Public Administration and Administration in the Conditions of War and Postwar Period in Ukraine" were unanimous that public management and administration, as well as all spheres and industries of the country are already being transformed according to new challenges. But with new ideas and scientific substantiation of the changes are needed to be provided in the future. It is for this purpose that the theses of the conference participants in the collection of materials were summarized. The resolution of the conference is being finalized and will be sent to public authorities and other public administration bodies for consideration in the future.
