PARTICIPATION OF UEM EMPLOYEES IN "CRISIS INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION OF BURNOUT SYNDROME" WEBINAR

On March 15th, 2023, research and training staff of SIHE “University of Educational Management” of NAES of Ukraine participated in "Crisis Intervention and Prevention of Burnout Syndrome" webinar. Among them: Professor Nataliya Muranova, Hab. Dr. in Education, Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, educational work and international relations; Professor Larisa Sergeeva, Hab. Dr. in Education, Head of the Department of Professional and Higher Education; Viktoriya Kuprievich, Assoc. Professor, Ph. D. in Education, Associate Professor of the Department of Professional and Higher Education; Olena Beznos, Head of the department for monitoring the quality of education, licensing and accreditation; Olena Ostryanska, Methodist of the highest category of the Department of scientific work.
Dr. Barbara Preitler, psychologist, psychotherapist, is the speaker of the webinar, the first one in a series to be continued until June this year.
The webinar focused on crisis intervention and burnout prevention. Topics considered during this first webinar: possible reactions to crisis situations, injuries (wounds, damage); resilience (ability to overcome crises and use it as an opportunity for change and development); how to help children overcome crisis situations considering "do no harm" rule; how to understand and support children in a specific situation; creating a safe space; specific advice for children of different age categories.
Barbara Preitler focused on "a year full of crises", how to create a good educational space for students, the team and for oneself despite current challenges.
