UEM DEVELOPS INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
From September 29th to 30th, 2023, Iya Degtyareva, Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Project Management of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Management and Psychology of SIHE "University of Educational Management" of NAES of Ukraine participated in "Innovative Practices for Ensuring Mini Entrepreneurship Ecosystems Development in Territorial Communities in conditions of Digitization"International Conference that was held as part of the International Project of the European Union Erasmus+ program "Mini Ecosystems Regional Networks" (MECOS RNET) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The co-organizer of the event was the National Association of Municipal Employees of Bulgaria (Head - Valentin Lazarev).
The conference was held in a mixed format (offline and online) on the basis of St. Clement of Ohrid Sofia University. The participants of the conference were representatives of higher education institutions, NGOs and businesses from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Poland and Ukraine. In addition to discussing ideas on supporting entrepreneurship, one of the tasks of the conference was to highlight mplementation results of "Mini Ecosystems Regional Networks" Project in those countries.
The project was implemented on the basis of the Kyiv Business School headed by Viktor Tyrkalo. On the Ukrainian side the head of the project is Maria Tsedik, PhD in public administration, Head of the international relations department of the Kyiv Business School. The idea of the project is to integrate mentoring of those willing to start a business.
The main target audience of the project is young people, mainly from rural areas, and people of "silver age" (50+) who have the opportunity to acquire new skills to implement their business idea at the level of micro, small or medium-sized businesses. In addition to consulting work and training, there is an opportunity to develop a website for each business idea that is planned for implementation.
Під час конференції було досягнуто домовленостей про налагодження співпраці в напрямах публічного управління і проєктного менеджменту, зокрема щодо проведення гостьових лекцій та участі у науково-практичних заходах.
During the conference the participants agreed on establishing cooperation in the areas of public administration and project management, in particular regarding guest lectures and participation in scientific and practical events.
