THE FIFTH INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SUMMER ONLINE SCHOOL "ADAPTIVE PROCESSES IN EDUCATION" WAS A SUCCESS
On July 5th – 6th 2024, at the initiative of "School of Adaptive Management of Social and Pedagogical Systems" NGO, SIHE "University of Educational Management" of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and Educational and Scientific Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy" of Karazin University held a powerful scientific online event, the Fifth International Summer Scientific Online School "Adaptive Processes in Education". Its purpose was to unite efforts of scientists, as well as post-graduate students and the work of various scientific schools of Ukraine and abroad.
Research and training staff of University of Educational Management of NAES of Ukraine, led by the Rector of the University Mykola Kyrychenko, Ph.D., corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, took an active part in its organization and implementation.
This year, the work of the online school took place in the format of "Adaptive Circles". The following circles were open for participation:
- "Relevance Vector".
- "Interference of Scientific Achievements".
- "Scientific Design".
- "Development and Implementation. Adaptive Management of Education".
- "Intellectual Cooperation. Ukrainian Education Abroad".
- "Science, Search, Adaptive Models".

According to registration data, 189 participants from 5 countries took part in the work of the Fifth International Summer Scientific Online School. Among them: 23 Habilitated Doctors and professors, 31 researchers with Ph.D. degree, 49 post-graduate students, 17 master's students and employees of various fields. Foreign scientific community was represented by educators, scientists and public figures from United States of America (Washington, Florida, California, Chicago), Arab Emirates (Dubai), Germany (Würzburg), Switzerland (Zurich), Portugal. However, the vast majority of Summer School participants were from different parts of Ukraine. The western regions of Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Rivne regions as well as the city of Zhytomyr were widely represented. The scientists of the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region were no less active, even representatives from the long-suffering Bucha took part. Scientists from the front-line cities of Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Poltava, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and occupied Berdyansk took an active part as well.
115 participants presented their own research papers, 74 people participated as free listeners. The participants actively shared their experiences. During the event an online discussion of the performances was held. During the two days of event, more than 80 responses to the published materials were received. Many kind words were written in the comments on the Summer School website (https://summerschoolssps2024.blogspot.com/) with thanks to the organizers of the event and the participants for meaningful and relevant materials.
Despite the difficult situation and the third year of the war, the Ukrainian scientific community has demonstrated its indomitability and loyalty to the scientific traditions of the theory of adaptive management, its readiness for further research growth and work for the development of our country of Ukraine!
We are all geographically separated today, but the Online Summer School-2024 demonstrated our spiritual unity and the desire to integrate scientific efforts. Such communication promote creative research and new scientific ideas. We believe in Victory and our activity contributes to its reality!
