IX NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST IN KYIV

On September 8, 2021, the IX National Prayer Breakfast took place in Ukrainian House in Kyiv. National prayer breakfasts have been held in Kyiv for nine years in a row and are considered the largest in Europe. The tradition of holding national prayer breakfasts serves the spiritual unity and understanding of leading politicians, government officials, diplomats, religious and community leaders.

The event was attended by over 1,000 participants from 15 countries. Among them: Epiphanius, the Head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Catholics and Protestants, MPs, Speaker of Ukrainian Parliament, government officials, leading politicians, congressmen and parliamentarians, leading politicians of the European Union and Brazil, the German Bundestag, Moldova, Lithuania and others. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. Mykola Kyrychenko, Rector of the State Institution of Higher Education "University of Educational Management", Natalia Muranova, Vice-Rector, and Iryna Sidanich, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Administration and Special Education were invited.

The event was attended by well-known Ukrainian journalists, educators, scientists, military chaplains, managers and businessmen. Delegates both prayed about various aspects of life, as well as shared ideas on how to overcome the challenges of today. All present had the opportunity to unite in common prayer for the spiritual development of Ukraine, peace and tranquility, for the military and their families, for orphans and their health.
