Drach I. I. Competence-context model of the educational process in the system of national education

A market economy, modern information society characterized by constant improvement of technology, market-oriented production, which requires specialist new formation that can adequately respond to market conditions, show initiative, creativity and activity. Therefore, the result of professional education has become not only the future of professional qualifications, and his professional competence.

The introduction of competence-based approach in higher education makes the transition from qualification to graduate competency model, which means that the goals of education should be related not only to perform a specific professional function, but also with integrated outcome requirements of the educational process.

Competence-oriented focus of higher education must be complemented by the use in the training provisions context of learning. Competence contextual model of educational process in universities involves forming ability of the individual to practice, mastery of skills in the new environment, the desire to learn to live together with others in the face of uncertainty, multiculturalism, efficiently and morally cope with their everyday problems.

The proposed model of the educational process in higher education in the training of future specialists describe two interrelated components: 1) the formation of personality, capable of self-actualization; 2) the formation and improvement of social and professional competences. With this professional expertise viewed as subject-procedural background of professional activities and actions, and self-actualization is a socio-procedural basis for personal growth expert in the profession.
