Didenko M. S. System and theoretical study of the category of professionally significant qualities of personality
In the general system of the experts individual qualities, professional qualities occupy a leading position. So now the question of studying the phenomenon of professionally significant qualities of personality and their relation to the competitiveness of the worker in the labor market becomes very relevant. This paper analyzes the theoretical aspects of the concept of «professionally significant qualities», considers the classification of professionally significant qualities, approaches to understanding this phenomenon. A refined model of the place and role of professionally significant qualities in the structure of activity is created. Professionally significant qualities were explored by many scientists with different approaches to the definition of this concept. If we analyze the definition of professionally significant qualities of the individuality, we can group them into three sets. According to the first, PSQ — is the physiological characteristics of the individuality, his skills and abilities. The authors of the second approach PSQ include in its determination individual psychological characteristics and properties of a specialist. According to the third approach, PSQ — consist of skills, abilities and personality characteristics that are formed in the process of learning. In this work professionally significant qualities means a set of personality traits that gives a chance to personality successfully carry out a particular activity and become competitive in the chosen specialist area. It was determined that the system of professionally important qualities performs as a certain set of subjective properties specific to a particular activity. It is not set in the finished condition, and is formed for each personality in the process of mastering in certain activities. It is determined that professionally significant qualities are certain signs and symptoms qualities specific to each activity. The place of these qualities in the general characteristics of the individual expert and local structures of the individuality are determined. The stages of the professionally significant qualities of mastery in profession are revealed.
The next stage of the research should be the development of professionally important qualities for certain professionals (managers of organization) determination features of their diagnosis and development.
