Vasylashko I. P. Structure of health-saving competence of teachers «fundamentals of health» and monitoring as a method for its development in postgraduate pedagogical education

This paper presents the analysis of healthsaving competence (HSC) of teacher of an educational institution in accordance with modern requirements. HSC of teacher of health basics are formulated to its structure and the possibility of developing HSC of teacher of the subject "Health Basics" in the System of Postgraduate Education with using new methodological approaches, including monitoring.

Method of monitoring has been proven as an important component of structure formation and the development of HSC teacher’s health basics. Aspects of using the monitoring process by teacher for health-saving activities have been proposed. The results of research using the method of monitoring these aspects have been presented for the development of HSC of teacher on health basics training courses in post-graduate teacher education.

It is noted that the structure of HSC teacher’s bases of health, the process of development in post-graduate teacher education are modified, adjusted in connection with the development of practice healthy lifestyles and safety of life. Determination of content, structure, methods of HSC of teacher’s bases of health require further development, analysis, systematization and generalization. Monitoring the formation of HSC of teacher has a complex structure, feature, and requires further comprehensive study, primarily as a method of teaching a teacher at the stage of post-graduate education.

In further studies, it is advisable to concentrate focus on the development quotient-criteria model evaluation of teacher’s formation of HSC health basics.
