Snjadanko I. І. Diagnosis of learning conditions in university

The article reveals the problem of social and psychological conditions in which a university student studies. The analysis of the major social and psychological conditions that contribute to studying and preparing students for future careers at the university has been conducted. On the basis of reference analysis, the following conditions have been identified: the adaptation level to student’s life; the formation of students' social well-being; financial support for both student and educational establishment that provides educational services; maintenance and relationships in the family (the parent’s attitude, the family values and expectations); and psychological satisfaction of the level of educational services.

The author's technique “Diagnostics of the university learning environment” which has been presented is aimed to determine the level of social and psychological conditions that are necessary for effective student study at the university. Technique aim is to determine the level of students’ satisfaction of social and psychological conditions that influence the effectiveness of study and preparation for future careers at the university. The technique consists of three scales: «Logistical and social conditions», «Social and psychological problems», and «Scientific and technological basis and organization of the educational process». The results of testing technique ‘Diagnostics of the university learning environment’ have been described.

The recommendations for implementation and practical application of ‘Diagnostics of social and psychological conditions of student learning’ have been provided.
