Barabach O. D., Glynianiuk N. V. The development of leadership of a head of secondary institution (based on experience of development and implementation of special program of training for managers)
The article presents the results of the development and implementation of the author's special program of training for working heads of secondary educational institutions concerning the formation of their leadership qualities. The contents of work, performance, priority forms and methods of work are described, features of the interaction between trainers and participants are related to heads of secondary educational institutions and conditions of formal education (at the level of institutions of postgraduate education).
Found that program for heads within the contents must be built on the principles of adult learning, be as «psychologised» as possible and provide activities based on the reflection of personal experience of participants. The program should include creating non-deficient conditions for the formation of leadership qualities including: studying builds up as the interaction of all participants and different roles; leadership skills are seen as personal characteristics of the individual that he needed not by themselves but in conjunction with other persons and the world.
The principles necessary for selection of participants to the group are highlighted: activity, sociability and disposition of participants to dominate; promiscuity of the group according to composition (to experience as a head, sex, age, place of residence, type of educational institution); voluntary participation, the maximum possible representation of all regions (cities) of the oblast.
